The nearest airport to Mechuka is in Lilabari or Mohanbari (Dibrugarh) in Assam, and Guwahati International Airport. There is also a UDAAN helicopter service twice a week to Mechuka (Saturday and Monday).
One of the fastest and best ways to reach Mechuka is to fly and then continue the journey by road, which takes approximately 13 hours if traveling from New Delhi.
There is a flight from New Delhi to Dibrugarh that takes approximately 2.5 hours and costs approximately INR 4,500–8,500. Upon arrival in Dibrugarh, you can travel by car to Mechuka, which involves another 9 hours of travel and costs approximately INR 6,500 for a rental car.
